"We are entering the part of the season that I love, summer and the Critérium du Dauphiné – Tour France sequence. For me, this is the most important time of the year and when I have to perform well. The last three weeks, spent training at altitude in Sierra Nevada (Spain), went well. I'm now happy to get back to competing and return to the level I want to be at, after a less successful start to the season than I had hoped for. For me, good results in the Dauphiné and then the Tour a successful season. As usual, I'm going to give it my all to be at the same level as last year and build my confidence for the rest of the season."
